Andrew McCulloch is a trusted voice in gambling compliance, bringing almost 20 years of experience across regulatory, operational, and advisory roles in both retail and online sectors. He began his career at Ladbrokes on the front line as a shop manager, and then gaining hands-on experience across multiple departments including AML, audit, and security, laying a strong foundation for his future in compliance. He also completed recognised industry qualifications with the ICA and Bond Solon in Anti-Money Laundering and investigative practice.
From there, Andrew moved into managerial and strategic delivery compliance roles as Head of Compliance, working with several online and land-based tier 1 gambling operators. His remit expanded to cover not just AML and licensing, but also safer gambling frameworks, staff training, and regulatory engagement.
He has worked successfully with regulators across many international jurisdictions, advising on licensing, governance, and risk-based compliance programmes and is known for translating complex rules into practical, operational solutions, Andrew brings a direct, hands-on approach to everything from policy development to frontline staff training.
