Betsmarties 2025 – 12 Days of Industry Recognition
Here at #BetsmartTowers we really value taking time to reflect on the last 12 months and want to shine a spotlight on and recognise key individuals, teams and organisations across our industry. We’ve opened up the 12 categories completely, so any of them can apply to individuals or teams, and our judging panel is ready and waiting to hear from you, our wonderful community, about who you think deserves to be recognised this year. Even better news is that this year’s winners will receive their very own beautiful Betsmarties trophy that they can proudly display for all to see.
Nominations are open until Friday 07 November, giving you plenty of time to get your thinking caps on; who is it that you’d like to pay tribute to for their contributions over the last year? You can even nominate your own team or organisation, nominations are anonymous, and you can nominate as many times as you’d like.
Our 12 Winners will be announced every weekday from Mon 01 December to put some festive cheer into our community and shine a spotlight on some of our greatest contributors.

You are on it! You are everywhere, you attend events, post about it, connect with others and raise the profile of the company you work for and what they’re doing.
Safer Gambling Saviour
You continuously raise awareness of gambling harms and prevention at public events around the world, whether it’s through attending conferences, online events, lobbying or other public speaking. Always bringing people back to the heart of safer gambling and clearly communicating the impact it can have on our communities.
Compliance Champion
You are impeccably professional, respected by both internal and external colleagues, and their mantra is not just to do the compliant thing, but also the right thing – keeping both the company, and most importantly customers, protected.
Legal Eagle
You provide clear, sensible and balanced advice, has a great understanding of how things work in practice, always being quick to respond to queries and being constantly mindful of regulatory changes which are coming down the road.
Governance Guardian
You are highly knowledgeable in the area of governance, you have an excellent understanding of regulatory frameworks, corporate accountability and responsible gambling practices. You are an expert in interpreting and applying licensing requirements and wider compliance obligations and are highly skilled in developing and overseeing governance structures that promote transparency, ethical conduct and strategic risk management.

This is someone who has made exceptional, sustained contributions to our industry over decades of service. They exhibit depth and breadth of expertise, leadership, influence, innovation and ongoing commitment to integrity and the highest of standards. This a person who has played an important role in shaping our industry and has earned the respect of peers and indeed all stakeholders.
